As we anticipated in the past, Specialized presented the new Specialized Turbo Levo SL 2023 2024.
A completely new ebike, not just an update, but a new generation of Specialized ebikes.
The new frame is distinguished by the six sizes available and the possibility of adapting the geometry with 27.5er or 29er rear wheels.
If the new chassis has seen considerable development, no less important has been the development of the engine, now more powerful, with more torque and longer range.
In reality, then, this engine update makes it possible to catch up with competitors who once supplied engines with similar powers.
The range of assemblies is complete.
Excellent choice not to sacrifice the quality of the components to have a lower weight.
Excellent brakes, for example.
Autonomy promises to be competitive.
The integrated instrumentation is nice, but clearly in the presence of problems it will not be easy to fix them.
Strangely, on a new bike, there is no integrated cable routing, it will come for the 2025 version…
Another flaw may be the prices, certainly not popular.
There are already rumors that other cheaper models will arrive, let's think of a version with an aluminum frame and a price of around 5000 euros.
But below 5,000 euros it will be difficult to go down.
Which to buy?
The cheapest, which already has everything and nothing else is needed.
