Giant finally unveiled the new Giant Propel 2023 aero bike.

A completely new aero racing bike that joins the new 2023 aero bikes.

A relaunch of a sector that seems outdated, but with the new chassis they are once again competitive.

An aero racing bike, the new Giant Propel 2023, lighter, more comfortable, more aerodynamic.

Not cheap, because the top of the range, the only one to go below 7Kg costs more than 14 thousand euros.

The other versions are cheaper but much heavier and far from the top range in terms of performance.

The frame stays true to the integrated seat post, less weight for the frame, more stiffness, less comfort, more overall performance.

The other versions have the more versatile traditional seatpost.

Excellent performance on the flat, valid uphill, a real racing bike for professionals.

But there is a lot of marketing involved.

The top of the range is truly a competitive racing bike, even uphill.

The other models remain excellent lowland bikes.

After the Cervelo S5, however, here is a new very competitive aero bike, the defects are the weight and the price, the strengths of the aerodynamics and the performance of the top-of-the-range version.

Soon also the complete road test.
