The Trek Domane SLR has always been an easy and safe road bike to ride, so too is the 2023 version.
Precise and stable at high speeds, it can be driven with one hand even on the most demanding descents.
Not very manageable, on the other hand, it is very stable and safe on bumpy roads.
Not very sensitive to cross wind, it takes very little effort in driving and allows you to concentrate only on pedaling, or to admire the landscape.
Excellent braking.
An excellent frame, very safe, perfect for driving on roads open to traffic and for the amateur who does not want difficult or unsafe bikes to ride.

We would have expected a greater reduction in weight, the bike, even in its top-of-the-range assembly, does not drop below 7kg, but it is undeniable that it goes better (not so much though) than the previous version.
Stiffer and more responsive frame, greater response to the thrust on the pedals, these are the improvements, which translate into better and competitive climbing behavior.
Greater performance on the plains and hills.
The best, however, it manages to give in the stretches of damaged asphalt, where stability and ride comfort allow you to concentrate only on pedaling.
Also noteworthy is the excellent traction of the rear wheel, which hardly loses contact with the ground.
On routes with damaged asphalt the performance is superior to lighter competitors and faster on paper.
Downhill performance is also excellent, where stability, safety and excellent braking are well exploited.
Years later it still remains one of the best endurance bikes ever and one of the best racing bikes.
In certain situations the performance is at the absolute top, a competitive racing bike in races with bad roads, but it is still one of the best racing bikes on the market, less fast than others, much more comfortable.
