Quarq Qollector

Stay connected, track your progress with Quarq Qollector

Quarq today announced it will offer Quarq Qollector and a new web platform, QuarqNet, to endurance athletes who want to seamlessly sync their data, share real-time tracking with friends and family, and connect with fellow riders on the road or trail.

The response we’ve had from athletes and fans to Qollector has been tremendous,” said Jim Meyer, Quarq founder and Technology Director. “For athletes who are passionate about endurance sport, this is a tool they can use to track their training, improve their performance, and stay in touch with family, friends and coaches every day of the year.”

The hardware behind Quarq Race Intelligence, Qollector was introduced at the 2015 IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii. In 2016, Quarq worked with the Enduro World Series to debut Qollector in stage races and gravity events. Qollector was also used by racers in the REV3 Triathlon series.

Qollector captures ANT+™ data such as power, heart rate, gear selection, footpod stride rate, altitude, location and speed. It’s all transmitted over cell networks in real-time. QuarqNet captures the data and seamlessly synchronizes activities with analysis sites Strava, TrainingPeaks and Today’s Plan. Athletes get unfiltered, high-definition data and training log perfection. QuarqNet delivers live tracking and metrics through a mobile-friendly website.

Impact resistant and waterproof, Qollector has a 24-hour battery life – saving your phone for real emergencies. About the size of an energy bar and weighing just 115 grams, Qollector can be mounted on the frame, seatpost or stem. There is a dedicated race belt. It works in jersey pockets and triathlon suits too.

Pricing & Availability

Beginning on October 11, Qollector will be available to US residents through the Quarq website at www.quarq.com. The retail price is $349 (US) and the first six months’ cellular service is free. After six months, cellular service is $99 (US) per year. Qollector uses AT&T 3G technology and includes international roaming at no extra cost. Qollector will be available worldwide in 2017.
