Specialized Turbo and Kenevo recall due to battery failure

Specialized has started a recall campaign in the US for a battery defect on its Turbo Levo and Kenevo ebikes.

The battery is not well sealed and water could enter, leading to a short circuit and eventually to a bicycle fire.

These are the models involved:

Levo FSR bikes 2016-2018
Levo HT bikes 2018-2021
Kenevo FSR bikes 2018-2019
Specialized M1 batteries 2016-2021

The recall is in the USA, at the moment there is no news of a similar recall in Italy, but it is possible that the defect is generalized.
