An excellent gravel bike, of the correct size, allows excellent control, a position that is not particularly tiring and is a perfect solution to get closer to the racing bike.
Precisely for this reason I would avoid the carbon version. In the future he will be able to decide whether to buy a better gravel bike or directly switch to a racing bike.
