There can be several problems with an e-bike battery that does not charge, or charges slowly without ever reaching full power:
1 - there could be a problem with the charger, check the voltage output from the charger
2 - there may be a problem with the fuses, check the condition
3 - there could be a problem with the cables, check the condition
4 - the battery may be shorted, check the status
5 - the battery may have damaged cells so it does not recharge or does not recharge completely
6 - the electronic control unit could be damaged and block battery recharging.
Once you have checked that all the electrical circuit works correctly, you can try to update the control unit.
If the problem persists, replace the e-bike battery.
It is not said that the problem will disappear, at which point the whole engine unit should be replaced or carried out with a complete overhaul.
