Colnago C64 Vs V3RS which one to choose
We respond to a reader who asks us for advice on these two racing bikes:
- Colnago C64
- Colnago V3rs
I found two occasions, at the same cost and assembly, which of the two is to be preferred and why?
First we can say that if the two Colnago racing bikes selected really have the same assembly and cost, the Colnago C64 would be preferred, because it starts from a higher list price and therefore is certainly a "bargain", more than it is, may be the Colnago V3Rs.
Between the two racing bikes, for performance, the Colnago V3Rs wins by narrow measure, lighter, stiff and reactive, but also less comfortable than the C64, which is also more stable and safe at high speeds.
Furthermore, let's not forget the substantial difference: the C64 frame is completely made in Italy.
So, personally, I would give priority to the quality of the product and also given the same price I would not miss the opportunity to buy one of the best handcrafted looms in circulation.
If I get to the top of a climb with a few seconds off from a Colnago V3RS I won't complain ... and it won't be a problem ...
