BH presented the new BH Ultimate EVO 2022 mtb bike.

The frame of the new BH Ultimate EVO weighs only 820 grams thanks to the HCIM carbon molding technology, which allows you to use the right amount of material in every point of the frame and obtain finishes free of any imperfection.

The selection of Toray T1100G high modulus carbon fibers is also key to making the new BH Ultimate EVO lighter than previous versions.

The distribution of each layer of carbon and the shape of the chainstays and seat post increase the ability to absorb vibrations and enhance the characteristics of the material to the maximum.

However, the most important aspect of the new frame remains the increase in stiffness, especially at the head tube. Part of this is due to the introduction of a completely internal wiring starting from the steering thanks to the ICR system.

The frame of the BH Ultimate EVO incorporates 31.6mm diameter steerers and aims for an expansion of options thanks to the telescopic version, an accessory already popularized in XC bikes.

The new version integrates a SRAM UDH derailleur hanger and the Acros BlockLock steering lock system, capable of providing the handlebar with 150 ° movement capacity and avoiding damage to the upper tube in the event of a fall.

The model also uses a Flat Mount rear brake and a 92mm PressFit bottom bracket. The FIT multi-tool, introduced with the new BH Lynx Race, also comes with the BH Ultimate EVO.

The steering angle is 68 °, while the inclination of the saddle is more vertical than 1 ° (reaching 75 °), a value that allows you to obtain an ideal pedaling position. Reach is increased by 10mm in size M, while the chainstays measure just 420mm.

These dimensions, previously unthinkable for a 29 ", are essential to create the feeling of agility at the base of the new BH Ultimate EVO. The BH Ultimate EVO range consists of 5 different models (in sizes S, M, L and XL), with prices starting from € 3,599.

It also provides the possibility of completely customizing its aesthetics through the BH Unique program.
