best branched chain amino acids PowerBar Amino Mega Liquid review opinions

These branched chain amino acids are very popular in gyms and also among many cyclists.

They are in tablets and this, in my opinion, is already a limit, because it prevents an accurate dosage for each individual.

In fact, in the package it is suggested to take about 4 tablets a day, an indication is fine for the less experienced, but when taking certain supplements it would be better to be assisted by graduated staff and not by "all-rounders" on duty, therefore with an indication in grams precise and not by "eye" in tablets (a widespread phenomenon).

My advice is always to prefer powdered products, to be dosed precisely.

Another flaw is that the nutritional values are not clearly indicated and are not easily comparable, they are in fact indicated for 4 tablets and not for 100 grams.

Also in this case it is difficult then to calculate the exact need, or to make a comparison with another product to check, on the field, therefore in training, if there are advantages or disadvantages for one or the other product.

These are the values for 4 tablets (each tablet should be 1.2 grams):

Protein 2.9 g Glutamine 280 mg

L-Alanine 160 mg L-Lysine * 316 mg

L-Arginine 77 mg L-Methionine * 78 mg

L-Aspartic Acid 352 mg L-Phenylalanine * 110 mg

L-Cysteine 66 mg L-Proline 209 mg

L-Glutamine 627 mg L-Serine 162 mg

L-Glycine 48 mg L-Threonine * 214 mg

L-Histidine 63 mg L-Tryptophan ** 46 mg

L-Isoleucine * 210 mg L-Tyrosine 102 mg

L-Leucine * 352 mg L-Valine * 204 mg

Among the advantages is that they have a wide range of action, but in the end, in the pure spirit of the Body Builder they do everything and nothing specific, they are good for an indeterminate mass, but not for specific finishing jobs and least of all in preparation. of the cyclist, which should be very specific.

They then move away from the dosage formula of 2: 1: 1 parts typical of essential amino acids: Valine (2 parts) -Leucine (1 part) -Isoleucine (1 part).

In short, despite their commercial success, they can be good for mass training in the gym but not for the cyclist, this is our opinion.

Furthermore, we do not like the fact that the indications on their composition are given for tablets and not for 100 grams.

The product is still valid, but in our view not the top, they must be considered as protein complexes rather than amino acids and then they are not clear in the indications provided.
