New cycling event at MECC Maastricht
From 20 through 22 October, MECC Maastricht will be holding the Euro Cycling XP event as the ultimate way to close the cycling season, and kick off the winter mountain biking cyclo-cross season.
Euro Cycling XP is a high-end interactive cycling event where the focus is on cycling, cyclo-cross, mountain biking, and triathlons. It is an event where major brands will present their products and services, and where fans, amateurs and pros can share their knowledge on materials, training, technology, aerodynamics, strategy, nutrition, mindset and coaching. On Saturday, 21 October, Euro Cycling XP will also be organising the Strade Limburgia tour through the Dutch and Belgian provinces of Limburg.
Euro Cycling XP is an event where cyclists can get inspired, the community can meet up, and where knowledge and experience can be shared. It covers every cycling sport you can participate in at a competition level. Major names from different pro teams will be there, giving fans the opportunity to meet their great cycling idols, and get challenged during one of the many clinics.
Euro Cycling XP is a co-production of Euro Cycling XP, Flanders Bike Valley and MECC Maastricht. Initiator Stephan Räkers: ‘As a former winner of the Tour of Limburg, the Volta Limburg Classic, and the Liège-Bastogne-Liège U23 race, I have a special bond with Limburg as a cycling region. MECC Maastricht is the perfect place to hold an interactive cycling event combined with a Strade Limburgia tour and challenging clinics.’
