Trek releases all-new Crockett

Trek unveiled completely overhauled models of its hugely popular Crockett cyclocross bike.

The bikes feature key upgrades and new technologies that make the disc-only lineup more versatile, capable, and race-ready than ever before.

Crockett retains proven Pro CX race geometry developed with input from the world’s best riders, in addition to exciting new colors and graphics as well as performance upgrades. The addition of flat mount disc brakes, 1x SRAM drivetrain with 3s chainkeeper, Control Freak cable routing, and front and rear thru-axles provide more precise handling and more powerful braking.

The all-new Crockett packs more fun, adventure, and versatility into a bike that’s won at the World Cup level, and it now has the potential to do even more. Sven Nys debuted the all-new Crockett and revealed its ability to run a singlespeed configuration at the Singlespeed CX World Championships. Crockett is an ideal option for riders looking to race one day and explore gravel roads or ride trails the next.

Crockett’s new frame is 150g lighter thanks to the introduction of Invisible Weld Technology—first unveiled in Trek's Émonda ALR line—which also provides clean, refined aesthetics. Stranglehold Dropouts make the frame more versatile than ever before, providing adjustable geometry and the ability to quickly switch between geared and singlespeed set ups. The bike easily accepts 40c tires, making it an ideal option for gravel and adventure riding. Up front, the carbon IsoSpeed fork with ride-tuned sweep and shape increases compliance without sacrificing lateral stiffness. You get more comfort and total control.

Whether it's racing, gravel, or adventure one seeks, Crockett is the shape-shifting cross bike perfect for riders who want to do it all.
