IBIS presented the new IBIS HD6 2023 2024 mtb.

Many news.

Here is the official presentation press release of the new IBIS HD6

THE NEW HD6

Here is the HD6, the latest evolution of one of the most famous enduro bikes in history. Designed following the

specifications from our Enduro World Cup team and produced to Ripmo and HD quality standards, the

HD6 has more travel, mullet wheels and a completely new suspension layout.

DW LINK

With 180mm of travel and the 29” front wheel, the HD6 gives immediate confidence. The wheel

27”5 rear and 165mm at the rear guarantee unique efficiency. The new layout of the

suspension is progressive and at the same time offers maximum sensitivity and stability on the hardest terrains. AND'

It is possible to mount a spring shock absorber, for optimal performance on the longer special stages.

The suspension is new, but still with the DW-Link system. The efficiency of the system allows you not to have to

act on the shock absorber before tackling a steep climb. Less damping of the shock absorber

allows the wheel to always stay on the ground and provide more traction to a bike hovering over

terrain, the feel that Ibises are known for.

1/S – 5/XXL

Specific seat tube angle

Geometry, suspension curve and overall design were guided by input from our team

enduro. The 64° head angle is 1° slacker than the current Ripmo, but a

similar central chainstay and the same chainstay length (despite the 27”5 wheel) guarantee a

perfect balance between agility and stability.

With the same seat tube angle, a taller rider sits 45mm further back than a shorter rider. For

to give riders of all heights a perfect riding position, the seat tube angle becomes steeper

with increasing sizes. For this we have added a size (the 5/XXL) to have less jumps between the various

reach measurements.

Seatpost diameter 34.9mm

We have switched to a numbered sizing system (1-5) to ensure that the choice of frame size is made

after carefully considering the table. Our frames have a low standover and seat tube

seamlessly to accommodate very long dropper posts. We always advise riders to choose

the frame considering the reach and the top tube.

to support this change, we upgraded to a 34.9mm seatpost. Stronger, stiffer and with more

space for internal hydraulics in favor of reliability and durability.

Lifetime Warranty

The HD6 breaks away from our classic design characterized by smooth lines. The new design gives the HD6

a more massive and faster look. The frame weighs less than 2.8kg without shock and is covered by warranty

Lifetime. A complete race ready HD6 can weigh less than 14.5kg. In a race with more than 1500 meters of

elevation gain every gram counts.

2.5” tires

We didn't skimp on the details. Guided internal cable routing makes changing gears a snap

components such as a rear derailleur or seat post. The combination of bushings on the lower link and

bearings on the upper one drastically reduces maintenance intervals. The tightening torques

are laser printed on the various components. The frame accepts tires with a 2.5" section and there is room for

a 750ml bottle (500 on size 1), a tool holder on the top tube and a super silent chain guard

Rubber.

With its unique combination of uphill efficiency and downhill performance the HD6 keeps up with the times

latest evolutions of enduro.
